3/6/18. AAS 1 retest of combined spelling 17 and 18. He only got 3 wrong. Kept, kit, and fell. AAR 2 lesson 8 w read the whole book "An Elf in the Swiss Alps". I could tell his fluency has improved a little, although towards the end we started to get mixed up. I think he was getting tired. I asked a few comprehension question and he comprehended them.
3/7/18. RGHT lesson 47 worksheet 27-B. Need to work on clocks. Was in a very grumpy mood. EIW 4. Lesson 3 day 2. Disk worked. Did okay.
3/14/18. AAS 1. Step 19. Keycard 10 when to use ck or k. Mastered keycards 8 and 9. Also mastered sounds c and ck. AAR 2 finished lesson 8. Also read "Fish Class" fluency was better. EIW 4 lesson 4 day 1. Did extremely well. Understands the process. Only got 2 wrong scored 89%.
3/15/18. RGHT worked on 2 worksheets with clocks and did very well ready to move on.
3/16/18. RGHT 9-week test. Only received 2 wrong and wanted a bonus addition problem. Which he received and got correct. EIW 4 lesson 4 day 2. Score 90%.
This month (March) we worked on green cards on level 1 AAR. Also continued with social skills with online gaming and teaching as a junior instructor at Tiger Rock.
4/2/18. AAR 2 lesson 9 divided words that have 1 consonant, guess what I'm saying, activity and green cards. Mastered are.
4/3/18. RGHT lesson 48 warm up and worked on quarter after the hour.
4/4/18. AAS 1 Step 19 spelled on laptop. Got all but 1 wrong. Will work on the ck at the end of a word rule.
4/6/18. EIW 4 lesson 5 day 1. Although he in the end only received 1 wrong he did not understand compound subjects. We worked on this together and he is also stating he does not understand.
4/10/18. AAS 1 reviewed key cards mastered pile. Went over when to use ck at the end of a word. Step 20 first half lesson. AAR 2. Lesson 9 fluency sheet. Read New words section. Also reviewed division word with 1 consonant between 2 vowels part 1. Went over green cards to AAR level 1. RGHT finished lesson 48 and did half of lesson 49. Subtraction table and subtracting consecutive numbers. EIW 4 lesson 5 day 2. Again he really does not understand compound subjects. We will spend another day on this with additional resources used.
4/11/18. AAS 1 Step 20 spell on paper 100%. AAR 2 lesson 9 fluency sheet. Phrases did better today. RGHT C lesson 49 finished up. Did worksheet and warm up. Was able to do worksheet with no help. EIW 4 went over another compound worksheet. Did so verbally. Is starting to understand better. He has asked for another day or two on this.
4/16/18. AAS 1 combined spelling 17-19. Received 68%. We are moving forward. He is starting to remember the rules. He stated that for lesson 21 he wants to try all in one day instead of 2 days. AAR 2 lesson 9 fluency sheet sentences. Did extremely well. Fluency is up and he had more confidence when reading. RGHT C lesson 50 difference, time. Very well with checking subtraction and difference war. Minuends 10 or less. EIW 4. Went over lesson 5 day 1 again. He only received 2 wrong. Moved on. Lesson 6 day 1. Compound predicates. He did very well. He only received 1 wrong. He understands compound predicates more than compound subjects.
4/19/18. AAS 1 step 21. Nk has read several book over the past few days. EIW 4 lesson 6 day 2. Did good.
4/23/18. AAR 2 lesson 10 divide words part 2. RGHT C lesson 51 subtract from 9 and 11. Loved the go to the dump game. Is getting better with telling time.
4/24/18. AAS 1 step 22. Compound words. Also practiced with tiles. AAR 2 lesson 10 fluency sheet. Did new words and phrases. Read with confidence. RGHT C lesson 52. Did better with telling time and still doing good with subtracting. Worksheet 30. Was unsure about himself but did well 100% correct. EIW 4 lesson 6 day 3. Did well with spelling without help. Did good with making compound subjects and compound predicates.
4/25/18. AAS 1 step 22. spelled on computer. Received 3 wrong. AAR 2 lesson 10 fluency sheet. He went for the challenge words today and did well. RGHT C lesson 53 Reveiw sheet 31-B. Need to work on clocks. EIW 4 lesson 7 day 1. Common and proper nouns
4/26/18. AAS 1 step 23 key card 11,12,13. Plural words/base words and spell with tiles. AAR 2 lesson 11 reviewed green cards mastered are and open, abbreviations and words part of practice sheet for the "Broken Robot". Math printed out clock to draw hands and clock to write the time. Did well with drawing hands. Did okay with writing time. Was able to correct on his own. EIW 4 lesson 7 day 2. Capitalize the proper nouns.
4/27/18. AAS 1 step 23 spelled on computer. 3 wrong. AAR 2 lesson 11. finished practice sheet for "Broken Robot". EIW 4 lesson 8 day 1. Singular and plural noun identify. 100% correct.
